Charlotte Mason West is starting a new CM West online study group, focused on Charlotte Mason’s first volume, Home Education. Amber Vanderpol and Brittany Lindvall will be leading this discussion, and we will be using Brandy Vencel’s study guide, The Afterthinker’s Guide to Charlotte Mason’s Home Education, to guide us.
We will meet via Zoom every third Wednesday from 8 to 9 p.m., beginning on June 13th, 2018. We want to keep the conversation tied closely to the chapters we are reading, so we are hoping to find some people who will be willing to keep up with the readings and come to the online discussions. After all, if people don’t come, we can’t have a conversation!
In order to participate in this discussion, you will need to purchase the study guide and have a copy of Home Education, either electronically or in print. You can purchase a copy of Home Education from Amazon (referral link) or the larger study edition from Simply Charlotte Mason.
The study guide is broken up into seventeen sections, so our discussion should take 17 months. If possible, we’d like for participants to contribute $1/month for a total of $17 to help cover the cost of the Zoom subscription.
